01. Preamble & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ARVEN (“ARVEN Maison de Parfum”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible online via arvenparfumerie.com. By accessing, browsing, registering for an archive account, or purchasing any olfactory flacon or discovery set from this platform, you (“Patron”, “Customer”, or “User”) unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms constitute a legally enforceable electronic contract under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules framed thereunder, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require physical or digital signatures.

If you do not agree to every provision contained herein, you must refrain from utilizing this platform or purchasing our compositions.

02. Artisanal Micro-Batch Allocations & Order Formation

ARVEN compositions are compounded in strictly numbered, limited micro-batches (e.g., Batch 001). Because of our meticulous aging and maceration standards, inventory is finite.

• Order Acceptance: The transmission of an order via our online checkout does not constitute final contract acceptance. A binding contract of sale is formed only when your order has been verified and physically manifested with our fulfillment atelier.
• Allocation Limits: To protect our community from unauthorized commercial re-selling and secondary market speculation, ARVEN reserves the right to cap maximum bottle allocations per customer, postal address, or payment card.
• Stock Adjustments: In the rare event of inventory discrepancy or damaged bottling prior to dispatch, we will notify you immediately. You will be provided the option to await the subsequent maceration cycle or receive an immediate, full refund.

03. Pricing, Invoicing & Applicable Taxes

All retail prices displayed on the Indian storefront are stated in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹). Where Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applicable under Indian law, retail prices are inclusive of all statutory central and state levies unless explicitly itemized otherwise at checkout.

For international visitors utilizing our currency preview converter, approximate prices in USD, EUR, GBP, AED, or other foreign denominations are computed using prevailing interbank benchmark exchange rates for informational guidance. Authoritative billing settlements are executed in Indian Rupees (INR) at checkout.

ARVEN reserves the right to modify retail pricing at any time prior to order placement to reflect variations in raw ingredient harvest costs, Swiss compounding essences, or international logistics indices.

04. Payment Processing & Cashfree Gateway Integration

ARVEN facilitates secure digital payments via Cashfree Payments, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

• Digital Payment Methods: Supported payment channels include Unified Payments Interface (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), major Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, American Express), Net Banking, and verified electronic wallets.
• Zero Storage of Card Data: ARVEN does not store, capture, or retain sensitive card numbers, CVV codes, or net banking authentication credentials on our servers. All transaction payloads are directly encrypted and tokenized by Cashfree.
• Server-Side Verification: No order is designated as “Paid” until our server infrastructure cryptographically validates the webhook dispatch or payment session response directly with Cashfree's authoritative API.
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Where available for domestic Indian pin codes, COD orders require cash or direct UPI settlement upon handover by the logistics courier. Refusal of legitimate COD orders without valid justification may result in restriction of future privileges.

05. Logistics, Fulfillment & Title Transfer

All domestic orders are carefully packed in protective atelier boxing and dispatched via premier logistics aggregators and insured express couriers.

Title and risk of loss for all purchased goods transfer to the patron upon delivery by the carrier to the destination address specified during checkout. Please inspect outer transit cartons before accepting delivery.

06. Cosmetic Hygiene Standards & Return Exceptions

Fragrance extraits and personal cosmetic formulations are strictly regulated consumer goods. For public health, sanitary integrity, and batch preservation reasons:

Unopened flacons in pristine original cellophane may be submitted for return within 7 calendar days of delivery. Claims regarding items damaged during transit or defective atomizers must be logged within 48 hours of carrier delivery with unboxing proof. 07. Intellectual Property & Brand Marks

The name ARVEN, the ARVEN wordmark, the stylized monogram, packaging geometry, bottle graphics, scent descriptors, product names (including Le Voyage, L’Azur, and Le Silence), site design, and editorial text are the exclusive intellectual property of ARVEN Maison de Parfum.

Nothing on this website shall be construed as granting, by implication or estoppel, any license or right to use any trademark, design, or copyright without our prior written consent.

08. Limitation of Liability & Olfactory Advisory

Perfume perception is inherently subjective and varies based on individual skin chemistry, ambient temperature, humidity, and personal olfactory receptors. Scent notes, longevity projections, and aesthetic descriptions provided on our platform are editorial guides and do not constitute warranties of individual experiential outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, ARVEN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from site access, delivery delays caused by force majeure logistics disruptions, or misuse of high-concentration extraits.

09. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any transactional disputes arising out of your relationship with ARVEN shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal proceedings, actions, or arbitrations shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
